Alpine skiing and snowboard
Hafjell is a 15-minute drive north of Lillehammer and just over a two hour drive from Oslo on the E6. Hafjell is Norway's 3rd largest alpine center. Hardly any other ski center in Norway has better accessibility or is easier to get to han Hafjell. You can also take public transport by train from Oslo via Oslo Airport. The train stops in Lillehammer with a corresponding bus to Hafjell Alpinsenter.

Maihaugen is Norway’s largest outdoor museum with more than 220 houses from as far back as the 13th century and until today. The scenery is beautiful at all times of the year. The museum shows tradition, history and way of life from different time periods. Come and take a part in journey back in time. Lillehammer art Museum
Lillehammer Art Museum is located in a unique building designed by Snøhetta, in the center of Lillehammer. The museum is one of the nation’s leading art museums, and houses a collection consisting of approx. 1500 works by Norwegian artists dating from the 1800s and until today. The museum ́s permanent collection comprises Norwegian visual art from the 1800s up until today. It is considered one of the country ́s most im-portant art museums with particularly impor-tant and representative works from the years 1820 – 1930. The museum offers a wide-ranging educational programme including guided tours, lectures and other art events.
